No Sew, DIY braided headwrap from an old t-shirt

I saw something like this online somewhere but being me I just didn't want to pay $22 for a head wrap. So I decided to try and make my own and it turned out great!

Here's what you need
Old t-shirt. If you are super small (not an issue for me!) you may want to use a guy's shirt
Fabric Scissors
Hot glue gun

Step 1
Lay the shirt flat and cut your strips as shown. You should end up with 9 strips. Because your t shirt is round you will need to snip each strip near a seam after it's cut to open it up. I also stretch out the strips so they roll a bit.

Step 2
Take 3 strips and knot them together at one end. Then braid the strips together. Set aside and repeat 2 more times.

Step 3
Now you have three braids. Cut a little scrap strip for the left over shirt and tie the braids together. Where to tie, you ask? Well that depends on your head and how much extra you want on the end of your wrap when you tie it. Take one of your braids and test it on your head to see where you should place the tie.

Step 4
Braid the 3 braids together and secure the other end with a scrap piece as well.

Step 5
Cut two more strips from the left over shirt fabric (use about 6-8 inches).

Step 6
Use your hot glue gun to secure the strips over the tied ends and wrap the fabric. Then secure with hot glue

Voila! You're done. Wear and enjoy!
