10 Minute Chicken Flautas

I love to make these because they are fast and the whole family loves them. It only takes me about 10 minutes from start to finish. Just add some rice or some chips and guacamole and you've got a meal the whole family will enjoy :)

What you will need:
10 Tortillas
1 package Canned or Refrigerated chicken breast (you can cook fresh if you want but then it's not a 10 minute meal.)
i bag Cheddar or 3 cheese Mexican shredded cheese
1 jar of Pica De Gallo
a jalapeno pepper if you want an extra kick
Vegetable Oil
Big Skillet
toothpicks

Step 1
mix together your chicken, Pica DE Gallo, and jalapeno in a bowl then add your cheese and mix it in

Step 2
Grab your tortillas. I used super soft Mission Tortillas so I could roll em up right away but if you use another kind you may need to warm your tortillas to make them more pliable.

Take your tortillas and put about a 1 to 1.5 inch thick strip of your mixture in it, slightly off center. Then roll it up as tight and tiny as possible and secure your roll with a toothpick

Step 3
Heat up your vegetable oil over medium heat. Try not to get it to hot!

Step 4
Pop your raw flautas in the oil. Cook on all the way around for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. (I took my toothpick out half way through so I could flip mine.) Take em out and drain 'em on a paper towel

Voila! Happy Eats!
